The BBC posted a photo series called “In Pictures: Winter Scenes“. Image #4 was this super fabulous shot of a boy upclose with a swimming penguin. Love it! The photo was taken by Steve McGuinness at the Belfast Zoo.

Kissing Penguins

Here we have a giant sculpture, of “kissing penguins”. It’s somewhat abstract, but I really like it. These penguins happen to live on the campus of the University of Warwick in the UK. Pretty cool! Photo by dotbenjamin on flickr

This photo of a penguin face painting is from a friend of mine – cutest kid cheek I’ve ever seen! Now I’d like to have a penguin painted on me… maybe my left hand so I could sit and grin at it all day while I work on the computer.
