At the Blackbrook Zoological Park, Leek, Staffordshire, there is a penguin that doesn’t much like cold water. Can ya blame him? His name is Kentucky and he’d much rather sit and watch his crazy pals frolick in the freezing cold than enjoy it himself.
They say he was born smaller than his brothers and sisters and has always been the runt of the bunch… this could be a main cause – the cold is a bit too cold for him.
According to the article at the Dailymail, the penguin keepers have to force Kentucky to get wet a few times a day so his feathers stay clean… they even have to pour water on him when a dunk just won’t do.
