Here’s a neat old school style game featuring a penguin. You can run around and collect coins and find all kinds of fun.

I didn’t play for long, I knew I would end up playing for hours.

I just discovered a new web based game called Putt Putt Penguins from the I’m in Like with You. I’m not very good, but it’s fun to play. Although I’m not a fan of the tagline saying penguins are dum… I think theres a fine line between perceived dum and just outright silly.

Penguin Academy is a new creation, a fun penguin themed play site provided by Living Coasts in the UK. You have to sign up for a free account, where you can pick a penguin type and name for your profile. The front page is apparently flash or something and doesn’t load for me. Ignore that if you have the same problem, and just sign up for the free account so you can play the games. My penguin is a macaroni named “doodle”.

There are a number of games you can play, but you can only choose to play the one game until you play so many times and more games will then be “unlocked”. I wish they would let you at least see what the other games are so you know if you want to keep playing or not.

I played two rounds of the first game, Fish feast. It was pretty neat, a more realistic cartoon version of a penguin that swims around and “eats” the fish. Unfortunately, the system wasn’t working correctly, so it didn’t save my score either time.

Try it out for yourself, you might really like it. I think it has potentially, but needs a few of the kinks worked out to really be a fun place for us penguin folk to hang out.

A month or so ago Gus and Waldo stopped by and said hi, but I was so busy trying to catch up with summer activities I didn’t see the note until now. OH! I wish I had found them months ago… I could be enjoying penguin fun for days. These are the cutest darn penguins with so much fun, you just HAVE to go and see them.

When you visit the website for Gus and Waldo you will be able to shop for cute penguin stuff, view their fun penguin art gallery, play a couple of adorable penguin games and even join their penguinaholics (anonymous of course) club.

I was playing with Gus and Waldo with a friend of mine and when we dressed Gus up as spiderman, my friend laughed hysterically!

Gus and Waldo are definitely on my list of favorite penguins.

Another cute penguin game. This video game looks pretty neat. I couldn’t try it out though because I use an Apple computer and it didn’t like my keyboard I guess. If you try it out, let me know what you think.

I did see the introduction though, and even the flames are cute. Bad guys should always be cute.. then we can win much easier

I found another online penguin game that is sooo cute, until you don’t catch the penguin and it splats.. not so cute.

There are a few different games out there that are just downright mean and gross. This one isn’t nearly that bad, I think its the cartoons I like so much.

As the player, you are a seal, it’s your job to help penguins cross a frozen river by catching them on your nose as they bounce through the air. The characters are cute… the bouncing part is kind of goofy, but that’s partly what makes it cute. And hey wait…  don’t seals eat penguins in the wild?
