The Madagascar Penguins become more and more popular. Every day I see a pile of people tweeting out their love and excitement as the show airs in their area. Fans continue to praise the show and giggle at the characters. How can you not love them? They’re fantastic!

There’s all kinds of fun memorabilia, swag and gift stuff you can get featuring these zany penguins. If you’re looking for the Penguins of Madagascar on DVD, there are a number of choices there too. Here’s a cool little penguin sticker created by a flickr user named *USB*. He places these stickers in various places around town and takes pictures as he goes. It’s interesting to see as he revisits places the penguins have been stuck – some are still around and some have been removed. Check out his flickr stream, there are some fun photos. I like this penguin sticker, it’s funky and kinda cute but not girlie. I’d love to add it to my own penguin collection!

The Audubon Institute in New Orleans is holding a contest to name their penguin chick that hatched on Februrary 9th, 2009. The contest is only open to members, but you are welcome to purchase a membership if you’d like to submit a penguin name.
